Part-time Graphic/Web Designer

We are looking for a talented, hard-working designer who has a strong graphic design background for print, as well as above average knowledge of web design. The individual hired for this position will have an immediate impact on our products, and will work directly with our management, lead designer, technology team and marketing department.

This contract position requires 2-3 days per week in house. Initially, the focus will be on shoring up our print assets followed by an introduction to our web projects. The right person may be a candidate for eventual full-time employment.

The ideal candidate:

  • has agency experience and a strong background in the development of brands/advertising campaigns
  • is eager to hone and enhance their web knowledge

Requirements:
•    a positive, “can-do” attitude
•    strong design capabilities related to print
•    branding and ad campaign experience
•    logo and graphic design
•    strong knowledge of HTML
•    strong knowledge of CSS
•    strong knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe programs
•    excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•    Ability to visualize and development clean, functional user interfaces
•    Ability to understand our business model, market and end user needs
•    Experience with information architecture
•    Although not a requirement, creation of copy as well as SEO experience would be an added benefit.
•    ability to work independently
•    desire to learn
